Brand identity.

My primary role at Traject was to create marketing assets and client-facing materials in both print and digital formats. My role evolved over time as I took on more responsibilities and the company evolved. I became the lead in establishing and maintaining brand identity for Traject and its subsidiary brands and products. This ultimately lead to my pinnacle project, a Brand Library for the company.

Flexibility.

One of the primary challenges was looking for new opportunities to support product features by reaching out to product managers and the sales department. This involved reaching across departments and familiarizing myself with new coworkers and products as other subsidiaries were acquired.

Examples.

Cyfe is an all-in-one business dashboard and a subsidiary of Traject. When this company was acquired, I was tasked with redesigning the pricing page due to a high bounce rate and out-of-date content. I used Figma to make these changes, and worked directly with Cyfe product manager and developers to launch this page redesign. My goals in the new page were to eliminate redundancies, minimize the amount of copy within each price card, and prioritize essential information for the product. My visual direction was based on new brand directives which I helped to create, along with a desire to streamline user journey and increase engagement.

This is a case study for a partnership between Synup and Authority Labs, a SEO rank tracking software. While this could have been produced as a document of text for Synup, my intention was to use visual aids to illustrate how Authority Labs was used to benefit their company. Using Illustrator and InDesign, I attempted to adhere to Authority Labs’ branding and translate technical concepts into digestible information.

Below is a video case study for Traject Data, based on the services they provided to Seer. I edited the raw footage from Seer, creating the visual graphics and animations seen in this video using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Audition. To ensure accurate information and positive representation of those interviewed, I collaborated closely with stakeholders. The colors and shapes in this video are a reflection of the brand standards, which I helped to develop.

Art direction.

In collaboration with Essentia Water's in-house design team, I played a pivotal role during their transition to new creative strategies. As the Art Director, I extended the new visual branding to social platforms and outdoor venues, leveraging creative freedom for brand experimentation. Responsibilities included photo editing and animation for social media, creating/editing internal documents, and producing assets for various contexts, such as in-store signage and trade shows. I also contributed to the development of the internal agency's process flow, ensuring a seamless integration of the updated visual identity across print and digital channels.

Examples.

I created visual concepts for a T-shirt giveaway using Photoshop and Illustrator.

I handled production and design on outdoor assets and collateral for sponsored venues. I created the branded visuals in the images below using the established brand assets in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Essentia’s brand heavily focuses on inspiration, similar to brands such as Nike and Coca-Cola. I created social posts using inspirational quotes based on established visual direction. I edited influencer posts to portray an inspirational narrative. The below posts are made using Photoshop and Illustrator.

During my time at Essentia, the company workflow was restructured. I was tasked with creating informational documents for everyone on related teams to understand the new structure and dynamics. The below image is part of a larger series of infographics and visual representations of the restructure. It was created using InDesign and Illustrator and aligned with brand standards.

Versatility.

For the AIGA Conference Revival, my role involved extensive production work and design contributions. Collaborating closely with the creative team, we developed a robust B2B campaign that spanned print, out-of-home (OOH), and digital assets, directing potential buyers to a custom website. Responsibilities included creating/editing POS collateral, image editing and retouching, production/animation for web banners, and minor art direction. Additionally, I played a key role in flushing out the conference booklet and contributed to creating a distinctive typeface, enhancing the conference's visual identity.

Examples.

Below, see several examples from this project, including the typeface usage and book layout. The type design was based around the concept of renewal and porosity in a city, New Orleans, that has a rich and diverse history and is constantly reaching towards a contemporary status. The imagery in this project was designed using Illustrator and Photoshop.

Peter A Mayer for Hancock Bank:

I updated the branding and layout of a large volume documents/ads, created and updated info-graphics based on brand standards.

This was done with the design team at Peter A Mayer with extensive coordination to make sure assets met a tight deadline.

Diverse personalities.

Below are several logos I’ve created during my career for various projects. Most logos were created using Illustrator. Although made for a variety of purposes and clients, the logos maintain visual consistency and mood within their given context.
