Coursera — Senior Designer

At Coursera, I partnered with copywriters and social media managers to design and ship campaigns that drove traffic to courses, promoted editorial content, and evolved the brand's visual identity across platforms.

When I joined, the team relied on a set of established templates for social posts and paid ads — effective for maintaining a steady creative cadence, but at risk of audience fatigue. I worked with the team to introduce more dynamic visuals: custom illustration, motion graphics, and seasonal creative that complemented the existing template system rather than replacing it. We kept the brand-recognizable structure while making each post feel fresh and intentional.

The approach paid off. A GenAI announcement post I helped design earned a 19% engagement rate on LinkedIn — generating 314 visits and 63 course enrollments within 24 hours.
